This open is being held on our 9 hole, par 29 course and is ideal for new golfers with a handicap that want to try an informal open day over 9 holes with their friends. It is teams of 3 with the best 2 scores to count on each hole and the price includes golf, afternoon tea and prizes.

The English Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship for golfers with a disability is open to male and female golfers and is played by 36 holes of stroke play over two days, 18 holes being played on each day.

The competition will be taking place at Ramside Hall Golf Club between Monday 23rd – Wednesday 25th June 2025.

Entry Fee: £75
Closing Date: Wednesday 28 May (17:00)
Maximum Handicap: 36.0

Players must be in possession of an EDGA World Rankings Pass (WR4GD), an EDGA Access Pass or EDGA Access Conditional Pass. Any competitor not already in possession of either Pass listed above, may apply via the EGDA website.

The winner is the competitor who returns the lowest gross score over 36 holes. Prizes are also awarded for the lowest net scores (both male and female playing categories) with a Handicap Index of scratch (or lower) to 18.4.

Players with a Handicap Index of 18.5 to 36.0 will play in a separate 36-hole Stableford competition category of the main Championship with prizes are awarded for the highest Stableford scores.

All players must have a current CDH Number and have 3 qualifying scores in the previous 12 months All players must have a valid CDH Number (IG Golfers Welcome)
The top three teams will be invited to play in the Singles Final Sunday 14th September 2025

Players must be 55 on the competition date. Men's Maximum Handicap Index is 24.3 Course Handicap 28, Ladies Maximum Handicap Index 31.0 Course Handicap 36. Those Ladies with a higher handicap can enter but must play of the maximum handicap index 0f 31.0 All golfers with a current CDH Number is welcome but must have 3 qualifying scores in the previous 12 months. (IG Golfers Welcome)

Compete in the NAPGC Open Championship of England, a premier individual Stableford event for men and women, with gross and net scoring formats. Players will compete over 18 holes for the chance to secure direct entry to the national final.

Event Details:
- Eligibility: Open to public and proprietary golf club members and independent golfers (max 100 players, first-come, first-served).
- Handicaps: Maximum index 36.0 (higher indexes capped); playing handicaps set at 95% of course handicap.

Timeline:
- Entries: January–April
- Event Date: Friday 30th May
- Entry Fee: £40 (includes green fees, food, and prizes).

Prizes:
- Trophies for the best gross and net scores in men’s and women’s categories.

A stableford competition open to all players with a WHS™ Handicap Index®.

iGolfers are welcome to come and play one of the premier golf courses in Nottinghamshire, a great parkland course founded in 1909. The format is a Texas Scramble, teams of 4, 4 drives per player (only 2 Radcliffe members allowed per team). The maximum playing handicap is 36 and play is from the red tees. The cost is £35 per visitor and £25 for members, a one-course meal is included.

Players must be registered with England Golf iGolf or be members of an affiliated golf club and hold a handicap index under the WHS system. Players who are affiliated to a golf club must have played in three individual strokeplay (medal or Stableford) club competitions in the past 12 months.

There will be a separate prize pool for teams with iGolfers.

iGolfers are welcome to come and play one of the premier golf courses in Nottinghamshire, a great parkland course founded in 1909. The format is a 4BBB Stableford, pairs must consist of one man and one woman, 1 score to count on all holes. The maximum playing handicap is 28 for men, playing from the white tees and 36 for women, playing from the red tees. The cost is £35 per visitor and £25 for members, a one-course meal is included.

Players must be registered with England Golf iGolf or be members of an affiliated golf club and hold a handicap index under the WHS system. Players who are affiliated to a golf club must have played in three individual strokeplay (medal or Stableford) club competitions in the past 12 months.
