Learn to play Golf at Cheadle Golf Club with our PGA coach Tom Clancy.

A 6-week course of lessons, designed to teach the basic techniques you need to play golf, will commence on Sunday 27th April 2025. These lessons are perfect for Adult Beginners; no previous experience is required or assumed.

The Group Lessons start at 11:00am, lasting an hour. Please arrive 10 minutes early to the first lesson to allow registration to occur.

Each lesson that you attend costs £5; the first lesson will be FREE.

All equipment golf clubs and balls are provided, although you may wish to bring your own clubs if you have any. Just turn up wearing comfortable clothes and trainers (lessons are outdoors).

Following the course, there will be the opportunity to continue your golfing journey with ongoing lessons aimed at Improvers. These will also allow you to play a few holes with members of the club, where you will learn the basic rules and etiquette of the game.

Cheshire Golf would like to invite all igolfers living within Cheshire/Wiiral and have a Cheshire postcode to compete in our 2025 Handicap Trophy, one of 13 Championships run by Cheshire Golf each year. This is the second year that igolfers have been included in the event. Any igolfer who wants to play will be playing alongside members of our affiiliated Cheshire clubs. Its a great way to meet new golfers to. There is no handicap limit, so why not enter our event which is taking place on Sunday 13th July at Eastham Lodge Golf Club and enjoy the experience of playing in one of our Championship championships.

Our 7am Club is back for 2025!

Exclusively for visitors and iGolf subscribers, come and play our 9 hole course for just £10.00. Every Friday morning from 9th May to 26th September, the 7:00 tee is reserved for visitors who want to take advantage of this discounted green fee.

You will be greeted by a member who will play with you, if you wish, or just be on hand for course guidance and information. Come alone or bring a friend – you will be most welcome.

Our course is compact and fast, especially first thing in the morning – you can get round in approximately 90 minutes (as recently demonstrated by Jo and Paul on their YouTube Video). Perfect for a quick practice before a weekend competition, or just a great way to start your day playing our little green oasis of calm.

Between 1st - 25th April, play as many holes as you wish before the light runs out from 4pm onwards, Monday to Friday for just £15.

Astbury Golf Club in Cheshire is having an Open Day on Easter Monday 21st of April. Anyone thinking about becoming a member of our golf club is welcome to come and play with a member and have some light refreshments for £20.

iGolf subscribers can play and benefit from our 'Playing with a Member' green fees.

To make a booking for today, tomorrow or the following day, you may book online via our Visitor Booking hub. Alternatively, you may check availability and book your tee time (including bookings further ahead) by calling the Pro Shop on 0161 491 4452, option 2.

When making an online booking, please note we are a 9-hole course, therefore if you wish to play 18 holes please make two bookings, which should be at least 1 hour 50 minutes apart.

Green fees are due in the Pro Shop or Bar before commencing play. If booking 18 holes on the same day then the 18-hole rate will apply, not twice the 9-hole rate that the booking system will indicate. Just let the assistant know you're an iGolf subscriber when paying.
