Brad Carter has been crowned the 2026 iGolf Open champion after producing a brilliant 44-point performance on the Hotchkin Course at Woodhall Spa.
With six iGolf Open events sponsored by Caddy Comps and taking place across England, the 2026 series reached its conclusion at the home of England Golf, where the qualifiers came together for the biggest event of the season.
And on a warm summer day over one of England’s most celebrated courses, it was Brad who delivered the standout round.
A Final to remember
The Hotchkin provided a fitting stage for the 2026 iGolf Open Final. With its famous heathland layout playing firm and fast, the finalists faced a very different challenge to those they had encountered throughout the season.
Brad handled it superbly. His fantastic total of 44 Stableford points saw him finish three points clear at the top of the leaderboard and take home the 2026 iGolf Open title.
Reflecting on the win, Brad said:
“It’s a wonderful feeling although I’m not sure how to process it, it’ll sink in a bit more later. The course was very bouncy and it was warm so I had to play a bit to that, but I had a lot of fun.
“I had a really good day and I’ll definitely be back next year – I can’t not challenge for another one now!”
Behind Brad, Tony Cooper took second place with an excellent 41 points, while James Cunningham completed the top three with 40 points.
Cath Healy was crowned the leading female after scoring 35 points.
There were prizes elsewhere on the course too, with Chelcie Lawrie and Jon Amis claiming the women’s and men’s longest drive prizes, while Chris Knight took nearest the pin.
Six Opens across England
Reaching Woodhall Spa was the culmination of a summer of iGolf competition across the country.
Sponsored by Caddy Comps, the 2026 series visited six different courses, beginning at Old Fold Manor in Hertfordshire in May before heading to Wychwood Park in Cheshire, WGC London, Stoke Rochford in Lincolnshire, Malton and Norton in Yorkshire and finally Minchinhampton’s Old Course in Gloucestershire in July.
Each stop gave iGolfers the chance to enjoy competitive golf at a new venue while trying to earn their place in the season-ending Final.
From the tree-lined challenge of Old Fold Manor to the distinctive common-land golf at Minchinhampton, every event brought something different but with the same prize on the line: a place at Woodhall Spa and the opportunity to become the 2026 iGolf Open champion.
From qualifier to champion
The golfers arriving at the Hotchkin had earned their opportunity through performances across the six events, before coming together for one final round with the title on the line. For Brad, it ended with a round to remember.
And after another summer of memorable courses, competitive golf and new experiences for iGolfers around the country, we’re already looking forward to doing it all again.
