Learn to play Golf at Cheadle Golf Club with our PGA coach Tom Clancy. A 6-week course of lessons, designed to teach the basic techniques you need to play golf, will commence on Sunday 6th October. These lessons are perfect for Adult Beginners; no previous experience is required or assumed. The Group Lessons start at 11:00am, lasting an hour. Please arrive 10 minutes early to the first lesson to allow registration to occur. Each lesson that you attend costs £5; the first lesson will be FREE. All equipment golf clubs and balls are provided, although you may wish to bring your own clubs if you have any. Just turn up wearing comfortable clothes and trainers (lessons are outdoors). Following the course, there will be the opportunity to continue your golfing journey with ongoing lessons aimed at Improvers. The second (and final) 'On The Tee For MND' event of 2024 is here, which will see us return to Carden Park, this time playing the Nicklaus Course. This event is a little different as it will be a shotgun start (subject to numbers) and will include buggies for all players. Your entry fee is fully inclusive of breakfast, 18 holes, a one-course meal, a donation to Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA), nearest to the pin (x2), longest drive, shotgun start and a shared buggy. This event will be supporting the MNDA Wirral Group, with all funds going to the local group to support those living with MND. Just like with previous events, there will be some fantastic prizes from Pro V1 golf balls to four-ball golf day vouchers at some of the best courses in the area. There will be over £3000 worth of prizes available at this event, including a fourball at the host venue of the 2023 Open Championship, Royal Liverpool Golf Club (worth £1280).
